My husband and I and some of our friends are vacationing
aboard the beautiful Royal Caribbean ship Oasis of the Seas.  This is a very unique vessel in that she
carries 5600 passengers plus crew!  We
set sail from Fort Lauderdale today on a 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruise. It
has  become our favorite type of vacation
as we are thoroughly spoiled the entire time! There is always someone around
who wants to make sure we are having a good time. We enjoyed dinner so much with
our waiter Ryan from the Philippines and his assistant Audrey from St. Lucia
that we have requested their table again tomorrow night!
As I write, I know I am sailing on the ocean but there is
so much activity and so many options to entertain me that I can easily forget I
am on board a ship.  I can sit outside at
the AquaTheatre and watch a movie.  I can
go to Dazzles where a live band performs for my dancing pleasure.  I can sip a coffee as I sit in Central Park
and watch people stroll by.  I can go to
Schooners Bar and listen to the piano player and maybe sing along! I can stroll
through many shops looking for something special.  I think you get the idea!
Tomorrow morning we are in Nassau, Bahamas.  A day that looks to be sunny and warm! I will
be back to tell you all about it!
